Better than our idols

You only once become 65 years old so that required a party with 65 guests, excellent catering and live jazz music with a singer (Willem). We preferred the style of crooners Michael Bublé and Dennis van Aarssen, but this band was even better than our idols and exceeded our expectations; great music, super professional, with nice band members. It was a great party with all the guests, young and old, complimenting the music. We look back on it with great pleasure!

At our wedding we wanted to offer ourselves and the guests a great performance. And when we think about it now, we can only praise it. The clear agreements in advance already gave us a confidence-inspiring impression as far as the organization is concerned. "De Jazz Centrale" fulfills its promises, also musically. Everything neatly arranged on time. The boys of the orchestra, neatly dressed in suits, that also gave a special appearance during the performance. The music sessions during the festive meal were well received (also by non-jazz fanatics). A live performance provides a cozy atmosphere. The evening performance with Eline was a highlight. With her beautiful voice she has brought a beautiful interpretation of our request number. It was not a bland decoction of Nina Simone but for us a real goosebumps moment. The half hour of the extension of the performance was also filled with enthusiasm. Our guests and ourselves really enjoyed it. Even the waitstaff and the manager were impressed. For those who want a special atmosphere at their party/reception...a great recommendation!

My daughter turned 18 and I 60. That was a reason to party! We had a great venue in the city centre of Leiden near the Hooglandse Kerk, the Branderij. We were expecting our close friends, family and colleagues. Now for music: I had listened to Eline before. Her voice complemented by musicians Nick, Han and Mark: the night could not fail. The reaction of all our guests was the same: perfect music. During the first session, a few people dared to go on the dance floor. Later in the evening the dance floor was full!

For a grand dinner with "Great Gatsby" theme we were looking for a suitable musical setting. We found that at the Jazz Centrale . After clear consultation and advice, we decided to book singer Mylene and five musicians. A great choice! Mylene and her group have a limitless range of songs, sense the mood and occasions well, and can handle anything. From ambient music to creating a party, in this case a "Great Gatsby party", they are up for it. Mylene and the accompanying artists are all top-notch musicians and easily adjust to the situations.
